Wondermilk, Damansara Uptown.

Hi hi!
last weekend we, Rihana, Aina and myself, went to Wondermilk in Damansara.
ni kali pertama kitorang pergi Wondermilk.selalu tengok dari jauh je.
entah macam mana dua orang mokster tu ajak pergi Wondermilk pulak.
hikhik.aku pun ikut je lah walaupun perut dah kenyang makan pastries kat Levain =P

the red velvet was very delicious! but i haven't tasted the rainbow in a jar.
one jar costed about rm15. quite pricey for me.but worth the taste =)


and this is the potato jacket...erm...cant actually remember the name of this potato dish.
but it was superbly yummy!


this two moksters are indulging on sloppy fries! (potato lagi)
which was undoubtedly yummylicious! ;)

emotional eating.

Hey guys,
it's been a boring boring weekend for me.gosh baru hari sabtu kot.
bet you, my sunday will be boring as well.
pergi midvalley esok pun best jugak kan.

I think i have indulged myself into eating ice creams.
well.maybe lately i've been quite emotional and tired.
and i choose ice cream to be my comfort food.yummy right?

 craving for froyo. 
tutti frutti mahal. tak mampu nak makan sekarang =(
froyo J.Co jauh pulak nak ke pavillion. takde teman =((

yums.waffle turnover. *slurp*

roti ice cream dekat pusanika.
serious coughing after eating them almost everyday.
harap2 stall ice cream tu dah takde minggu depan.
kalau tak memang akan beli lagi -_-"

i'm feeding my emotions.hoping that it will quench those feelings....

How to differentiate between hunger and emotionally hunger?

1. Emotional hunger comes on suddenly; physical hunger occurs gradually.
2. When you are eating to fill a void that isn't related to an empty stomach, you crave a specific food, such as pizza or ice cream, and only that food will meet your need. When you eat because you are actually hungry, you're open to options.
3. Emotional hunger feels like it needs to be satisfied instantly with the food you crave; physical hunger can wait.
4. Even when you are full, if you're eating to satisfy an emotional need, you're more likely to keep eating. When you're eating because you're hungry, you're more likely to stop when you're full.
5. Emotional eating can leave behind feelings of guilt; eating when you are physically hungry does not.

MIHAS 2012.

MIHAS is back in town!

but this year it is open to public for one day only.
memang tertunggu2 la MIHAS ni.ehehe.next year nak jadi volunteer lah =P
tapi tahun ni tak banyak sangat makanan macam previous years.
takde dim sum.takde free pau =(
ahaha.datang perut kosong, balik kenyang makan free food~

Waffles&Pancakes.

hye, it's me again!

kebelakangan ni aku asik nak mencuba makanan baru.baru la kot?
takde la baru sangat pun Pancake House ni.aku je yang tak pernah makan.
eheeee.jom makan!

kalo nak diet kena 'makan banyak2'~

tapi tak suka dia ada letak peanut butter.
next time i'll request without the peanut butter.
and you can choose either chocolate, vanilla or strawberry ice cream.
mine is choc&vanilla ;)

Sebab Midvalley (my lepak place) is soooo penuh on Saturday, my mum and I decided to buy fillet-O-fish from McD and eat at Delifrance. We end up eating pastries (2 big fruit tarts and cheese with chicken strips toast) and this so delicious chicken pie.Yums!

tapi memang dah masin nak buat macam mana -_____-"

i desperately need to stop shopping and eating!
April is so full with delicious offers and yummy promotions.
will not spend on food until MIHAS 2012! (jom shopping makanan~~~~~~~~~~~~)

DubuDubuDubuDubu.

hi hi hi guys!

aku konon nak buat review pasal Dubu Dubu Seoul Food dekat Midvalley ni la..
dah lama tunggu nak merasa Dubu Dubu (= tofu) ni.
i am not a korean fan.tak fanatik.tak tengok drama korea.tak teruja nak pergi concert koreans.
saya neutral.

tapi teringin nak cuba makan makanan baru.here goes...


Citron Dubu
macam taufu fah.sedap!
taufu fah campur lemon~

me mommy with beef dol sot set.

me with seafood bibimbap.

abgngah with his kimchi gogi.

abglong with his beef bulgogi.

(tak tau betul ke tak.anyway, apa beza gogi and bulgogi? entah.)

aku pernah makan kimchi yang lagi sedap daripada kimchi dekat Dubu Dubu ni.
okaay laa kalau sekadar nak merasa.tapi tak kena dengan kesukaan aku.
the taste is quite.............not enough flavour.haha.
bagi aku laa.and makanan korea dekat food court midvalley lagi sedap kot~
tak pernah makan, pernah rasa kawan punya je.
harga kira berbaloi dengan size portion yang dihidangkan.

honestly, aku kalau nak merasa je okay laa kot.but i wont go and eat there as often as i eat Sushi King.

jom jual kuih!

hi all!

this entry has nothing related to the title ok?
no no i'm not going to start any business selling pastries or anything.
if you have been following my blog, this is not the first time aina and I bake cream puffs.
aku rasa 4-5 kali kot buat ni.

tapi kali ni ada dua matlamat yang nak dicapai :
1. Nak try resepi cream puff dari JoyofBaking.
2. Sebab ada request dari kawan aina.

3 hari 3 malam buat ni tau.eceh.tapi ini serious.

Matlamat pertama :
Cuba resepi dari JoyofBaking.
tak susah tapi resepi dia agak pelik dari kebiasaan yang ktorg guna.
ingredients yang diberi agak tak sesuai sebab butter dia terlalu banyak for a small portion.
haritu aku kena buat dough pastry sampai dua kali nak bagi seimbang antara dough dengan butter.

tadaa.the above is the result for choux pastry from JoyofBaking.
its fluffy, the dough is soft, but not that creamy and sweet sebab dia guna plain water.
rasa dia plain saje.selalu cream puff memang macam tu.
plain choux pastry, but yummy fillings.

tapi aina tak suka choux pastry yang atas ni.dia kate tak sedap.

Matlamat kedua :
Menyiapkan request dari kawan.
ktorg lagi suka guna resepi dari Keikos.
choux pastry dia sedap, lembut, walaupun tak berapa nak hollow.
selalunya cream puff akan ada hollow kat bahagian dalam.

tada~ masa ni custard cream tengah cair lagi baru lepas masak.
bila isi dalam pastry macam terkeluar2 la.ape2 pun.memang sedap!

*tak digalakkan untuk org diabetes.atau tengah diet gila2.

nak buat request kawan pun dah penat gila.
dalam mimpi je la nak jual kuih! haha.mungkin sebab tak biasa lagi kot.
kalo jual pun ade ke yang nak beli.hahaha~ =P

ok!
for those yang baru nak cuba.selamat mencuba!
first2 memang rumit sikit nak buat cream puff.
bila dah 2-3 kali buat dah terbiasa~ good luck!

we love good food!

hello!

on this 14th of February I ain't gonna celebrate Valentine's day..
but more to a siblings outing..

due to a recent unfortunate event that fall onto abgngah..
aku saje je la nak ajak family aku keluar makan.because we simply loveee food!
just to take his mind off the incident.at least for a second..huhu.poor abgngah, poor abgngah.. =(


the famous IKEA meatballs, pasta with tomato sauce, full-chicken i-dont-know!

good food bro, good food!

and i have laid my eyes on this beautiful bed yet so expensive and i cant afford it right now.

Beef Wellington.

Ngelo!

Disebabkan mak aku selalu complaint yang dia bosan dengan masakan bibik yang balik2 ikan goreng, sup bebola ayam dengan cendawan, sambal ikan, sayur goreng dll., aku dengan aina pun berusaha la nak masak lauk-pauk yang 'menyelerakan' nak bagi umi makan.
baru la umi seronok nak balik makan dinner kat rumah kan? =)
at the same time, boleh la belajar masak sekali~

kelmarin aku masak ayam dengan cendawan, dengan daging masam manis.
sedap bila letak banyak colorful veggies.i like!
harini nak cuba masak beef wellington plak.
aku tak tau laa nama dia Wellington Beef ke Beef Wellington (ah, sama je la)
biasela..aku kan suka tengok rancangan masak-memasak kat tv.
aku tau pasal Beef Wellington ni pun bila tengok Jr. Masterchef Australia s1.
memang dah lama teringin nak buat ni.tapi macam susah je.
bila tengok Gordon Ramsay buat baru nampak macam senang.heee~

The judges told him that he made the most delicious Beef Wellington.
and he won the challenge that day.
untung laa kecik-kecik dah pandai masak.
aku dulu kecik-kecik pandai makan je~ =P

tak pandai nak gulung daging tu dengan puff pastry, bila potong dah bersepah2~
it was supposed to be firm and tight~
happy that they complimented on this beef wellington.
beef wellington : SUCCESS!

spaghetti and beef wellington for today's dinner.
too bad tersilap beli gravy masa kat cold storage tadi.
haih.should have checked the ingredients more carefully next time.
sos BBQ plak dah 2 tahun expired.
rumah aku ni memang suka simpan makanan expired btul la.
aku yang tukang membuangnye..haihssss.


rabak poket asik nak masak/makan makanan western je.
pokai sebab beli bahan-bahan nak masak je -___-"
lepas ni makan je la ikan goreng, sayur goreng, sup bebola ayam dgn cendawan balik.

lasagna.my favourite!

hey all~

For a change, today Aina and I made lasagna for dinner.
this was our first attempt to bake our homemade lasagna.
and our first time to handle with the pastry sheets.haha.
somehow macam confused nak boil pastry sheet with the oil first atau macam mana.
so hasil rebus tu, pastry sheet jadi melekat-lekat..and tercarik2 bila nak disusun.
and i just found out that tak payah rebus pun takpe, cuma rendam dalam hot water. =P
sebab nanti kita nak bakar dalam oven lagi.kalau dah rebus, then bakar lagi, pastry tu akan jadi soggy.
ours is just fine.not soggy at all =)

senang macam nak masak spaghetti cuma tambah kerja nak buat cheese sauce dia.
tak nak letak cheese sauce pun boleh.up to your liking.

pastry sheets yang berlapis2 with cheese sauce yang tebal.
there goes my diet~

somehow i disagree with aina and bibik.nak letak perasa la baru sedap.blablablabla.
sebelum ni takde guna perasa pun, sedap je spaghetti~depend sangat kat perasa tu.huh~
sejak buat shepherds' pie haritu laaa ni pandai guna perasa perasa bagai.huh~~

to complete our meal, we've prepared some salad and mashed potatoes =)
and dinner today was awesome!

alhamdulillah~ rezeki Tuhan nak bagi menikmati makanan macam ni~

the clafoutis.not.

hye peeps!

hari khamis lepas abgngah baru balik dari Sydney and surprisingly bought cherries and few boxes of strawberries.
and the cherries are quite ripe so kalau tak cepat dimakan nanti sia-sia je.
and so aku cakap awal2 yang aku nak buat cherry clafoutis.
so i put aside my portion of cherries.

asalnya aku tahu pasal clafoutis ni bila aku tengok junior masterchef Australia.
so alang-alang dah ada cherry, boleh la try buat clafoutis.
aku guna resepi dari JoyofBaking.you can check the recipe if you're interested to try =)
and here's mine :

red cherries

pitted cherries simmered with butter and sugar.

pour the batter until the cherries are fully immersed or partially up to your liking.

now we bake.and wait.

cherry clafoutis.tapi tak jadi.

the taste is fair but the texture is not what i expected.
supposed the batter would turn into a soft pudding-like fillings to the cherry.
but it was my mistake because i think i put a little too much flour into the batter.
so....hasilnya jadi kental macam...entahlah..tapi yang aku tau tak jadi la clafoutis ni.*sobs*
sudahnya aku sorang je yang makan. =(

at least aku dah trial and error resepi ni and aku tahu hasil dia sepatutnya jadi macam mana.
eiii.tu la gatal nak letak tepung lebih sikit tu kenapa.uhuk.
makan sejuk2 pun sedap.rasa macam makan puding roti dengan anggur.hee.
tak jadi pun tak jadi lah.at least it is still edible.*ayat nak sedapkan hati*

ini...bakwan

hello again!

masa aku baru kerja kat Cibitung, tempat makan semua tak tau dekat mana, so kitorang kena jalan2 cari makan lah..
first time makan bakwan ni aku ingat lagi dekat Warung Mbak Ning.
dekat kedai tu dia jual makanan Sunda.bakwan dia macam sedap gila~
aku tanya pak ujang, gorengan apa tu yang ada jagung dalamnya..
dia pun bagitau la nama gorengan tu bakwan.yang ada jagung tu, bakwan jagung~

hah.balik Malaysia aku sibuk je tanya bibik dia tau tak nak buat bakwan.

tos jagung dulu ye~ lagi sedap guna jagung yang fresh.bukan dalam tin

sugar, spice and everything nice~

diaduk-aduk sehingga sebati

and we sizzle till frizzle~

taddaaaa~ bakwan jagung nya udah siap~ pas untuk dimakan~

eleh, bakwan jagung ni, cucur jagung je sebenarnye.
saje je aku nak kecoh lebih.

dah graduate.lepas tu?

hey hey hello!
sekarang ni kan musim konvo.sana sini org letak gambar graduation.
TAHNIAH sume~ berjaya gak korang habiskan final year project,thesis semua kan.
kesusahan zaman belajar tu la yang akan jadi kenangan terindah korang nanti.
hahaha *gelak jahat*

rezeki kita masing-masing berbeza.

macam aku, belum graduate lagi aku dah ditawarkan pekerjaan.tak sempat pokok anggur aku nak berbuah.
tapi kerja aku sekarang ni takde kena mengena langsung dengan apa yang aku belajar dulu.


macam kilang dah kena tinggal 10 tahun kan? tapi ni lah kilang tempat aku bekerja kat Jakarta.

few samples yang aku dengan Dina dah buat analisis.warna semua sama hitam.keluar lab memang badan penuh arang sana sini.

kawan-kawan yang kat luar sana.sabar ye sementara tunggu dapat kerja.
buat lah kerja part-time sementara nak dapat kerja idaman tu.ataupun, grab je mana job yang dapat.pergi je semua interview yang kena panggil.bukan ape.dapat jugak pengalaman kan?
sekarang ni dah tak pelik lah kalau kite dapat kerja yang bukan dalam bidang kite.no worries =)

ada kawan aku kerja sales jual produk kesihatan.ada yang kerja angkat telefon.ada jugak yang jadi cikgu sambilan (ye...kau le tu Wannor). apa-apa pun.asalkan kerja yang halal kan?

Sudu yang mahal! tak berbaloi.Tutti Frutti lagi berbaloi walaupun mahal sikit.
