Konvensyen Jutawan Muslim 2012.

hye all,

today, my mum and I have attended "Konvensyen Jutawan Muslim" organized by ILuvIslam.com

and as usual, iluvislam always has timing issue.kali ni masih boleh bersabar.unlike The Rhythm of Soul we went a few weeks ago.

why we attend this at the first place? because my mum likes money.who doesn't!

konvensyen ni bertujuan untuk memberikan semangat dan sedikit panduan kepada muslimin muslimat untuk menjadi jutawan (insyaAllah) yang diredhai Allah.

and yes, semua speakers yang hadir semua businessman businesswoman belaka.

kecuali Prof Asiah Abd Rahim, seorang arkitek yang bertaraf jutawan.

Pengisian konvensyen ni sangat sangat bagus, most of them shared their stories on what motivated them to work, what inspired them. and some of them are forced to work hard because they are very very poor.

Hampir semua daripada speakers ni, berasal dari keluarga susah. dan yang paling aku kagum sekali is Dr. Asiah (the architect).

Her life journey to success was very very inspiring.Dia kata dia kerja untuk duit.dia ambil semua peluang yang ada.EVERY CHANCES.

bila dia cerita tu, memang terasa sangat kesusahan yang dia hadapi dulu.simpan duit sendiri nak further studies.takde biasiswa, kerja part-time nak tampung yuran pengajian.

student skang ni dok sibuk nak demo hapus PTPTN. -____-

dan kebanyakan daripada speakers ni banyak kali menghadapi kegagalan.

yang penting, kita belajar dari kegagalan, dan jangan ulang balik kesalahan yang sama.

and some say, kalau kita tak boleh nak buat macam dia buat, kita tiru dia.apa dia buat, kita ikut.apa yang dia tak buat, kita jangan ikut.

belajar dari kesilapan orang lain.

hoh.macam kursus motivasi plak. =P

i didn't realize that i had this Warren Buffet quote in my laptop for quite some time already.

(i didn't even know who is Warren Buffet until i attended this convention)

did you know that he spend over 90% of his profit to charity?

pengajaran yang aku dapat dari konvensyen ni, dorang yang kaya-kaya ni tak makan duit kotor.

and diorang sentiasa memberi.salah satu matlamat hidup diorg sebelum jadi jutawan, diorang sentiasa nak memberi.

Ustaz Zahazan (Founder of Telaga Biru) kata, mereka ni nak jadi kaya untuk 3 perkara :

1. Jadi orang yang mulia

2. Mahukan ahli keluarga yang mulia

3. Membantu orang lain

and Dr. Niki Shuhada said ;

if you haven't decide on what you want to do in your life, you should ask yourself, 

"what is it for you?"

"what do you want to do?"

Bekas penyanyi Innuendo, Reymee Hussein kata,

write down your goals, know the reasons of your goals, and set a timeline for you to achieve them.

terus jadi bersemangat nak teruskan hidup.haha.boleh laa tanam angan-angan nak jadi jutawan.

it's not impossible kan =) anyway, if any one of you out there yang masih tak tahu hala tuju hidup, eloklah korang fikir betul2 dan korang cuba apa yang korang betul2 minat nak buat.and change that to be your career and passion.

dah dapat duit, jangan lupa buat amal jariah untuk membantu orang2 yang lebih susah dari kita.juga untuk tabung amalan di akhirat nanti~ insyaAllah, Allah berkat dan redha dengan rezeki kita.

AbgLong's 28th Birthday.

well.hello!

anyway, to entertain myself and to keep myself occupied,

i cooked for AbgLong's birthday dinner which is today, 25/4/2012.

Happy Birthday AbgLong! dah 28 tahun bila nak kawin ni?

cepat2 kawin, nanti alia boleh kawin plak (calon pun takde nak kawin mende)

planned to bake a birthday cake, but..decided to cook dishes.

so the cake is undoubtedly from Secret Recipe.

Banana Choc Cake.

First try on Pumpkin Soup.

but turns out to be too thick so i called it

Pumpkin Curry Puree.

got the recipe from Dr. Oz's website.

do you know that pumpkin is a very good cancer-fighting fruit (or vege?) because pumpkin has high content of antioxidants.

go away bad free radicals~

anyway, pumpkin pun bagus untuk ingatan.tak nak jadi pelupa makan la pumpkin banyak2.

terasa nak buat bila tengok Masterchef Australia season 3.

alhamdulillah, first attempt buat ni dah menjadi =)

and my family likes it very much.yeay berjaya!

tak susah pun nak buat roasted chicken sebenarnya.

i'm happy when my family is happy.glad that they liked what i have cooked for dinner today.

if it is like the movie Simply Irresistible, they would have felt the sorrow i felt while cooking just now.

let's just not think about it *sigh*

p/s ; people wouldn't care if you're sad.because they can't understand what you feel.

Wind Orchestra Preliminary Round 2012.

Hi all!

like previous years, aku suka nak bagi aku punya own review on SBP Wind Orchestra Comp.

of course lah SERATAS tetap di hati.

but sadly, Seratas Royal Rhapsody didn't make it to the finale.

Festal Scenes and Rasa Sayang.

Rasa Sayang ni rasanya Uitm dah pernah main masa IPTA WOC 2010 dulu.

tapi Uitm kalah dengan SDAR (Panda cakap)

Untuk aku yang pertama kali dengar lagu Festal Scenes ni,

aku tak berapa nak suka kat lagu tu.

Unlike last year's Abram's Pursuit, maybe for an opening song, its quite boring and mellow.

for my untuned ears, ada juga parts yang kasar dan tak bersih.

(bab2 tuning aku dah out)

cikgu kata Seratas main ok.takde rezeki tahun ni. =(

anyway, its a tough competition this year.very tough indeed.

i think semua sekolah memang improve gila2 sampaikan sekolah yang tak disangka2 masuk final, masuk final.

and so the finalists are ; SESMA, SDAR, SSAS, SainsKu, TKC, SMACH, SMSS & SSP

i'm still proud of STAR's yang bawa lagu Tanjung Katong and Pursuit.dah tak teruk sangat macam tahun2 lepas.

and SMSAH's with their Pirates of the Carribean and Lelaki Ini.

undoubtedly, TKC is awesome this year, main sedap and lagu pun best.

maybe i'll root my vote for TKC this year =)

dah vote TKC sejak pergi Royal Concert diorg haritu.hahaha.

MIHAS 2012.

MIHAS is back in town!

but this year it is open to public for one day only.

memang tertunggu2 la MIHAS ni.ehehe.next year nak jadi volunteer lah =P

tapi tahun ni tak banyak sangat makanan macam previous years.

takde dim sum.takde free pau =(

ahaha.datang perut kosong, balik kenyang makan free food~

Sebab Midvalley (my lepak place) is soooo penuh on Saturday, my mum and I decided to buy fillet-O-fish from McD and eat at Delifrance. We end up eating pastries (2 big fruit tarts and cheese with chicken strips toast) and this so delicious chicken pie.Yums!

i desperately need to stop shopping and eating!

April is so full with delicious offers and yummy promotions.
